I have to say, I've tried many different types to prevent fruit flies. The best above all have been the Apple Cider Vinegar and a couple drops of dish soap liquid. No more annoying fruit flies floating up to my face, and have you ever noticed when you try to clap your hands to destroy them? They mostly survive. It's like they know and get the hell away before your hands meet 😮

I used an apple cider vinegar trap before and it didn't do squat. The fruit flies are NOT attracted to apple cider vinegar. You're better off just putting a fragment of fruit in than using apple cider vinegar.

Nice video. I have the Masterbuilt Gravity Series 800. I like it very much, but the electronic control has given me issues. Just last week I was smoking a brisket, a few hours in I opened the lid to add more charcoal, closed it and the fan would not come back on. The temp. dropped and dropped. LUCKILY I have another smoker (Campchef pellet smoker). I had to set that up, bring it to temp. and finish the brisket on that. After my Masterbuilt was all cooled down, I set it to 225 and I heard the fan come on. Crazy. Now I just "hope and pray" that it will work properly next time I go to use it! The controller is a real pain in the but to change out :-( Enjoy your new toy!

Dreo claims this fan pushes air 110 feet, I was very skeptical and when I got mine today can confirm thats FALSE. I had a tape measure from the fan and couldnt feel any resemblance of moving air at 22 feet so big fat lie on that one. Its same price and same sound as Vornado so might just return it for one of them since those are tried and true by me. If your into the wifi shit this might be the better option though

Battery backup sucks… in 60% gear battery 100% to 19 within 1hour 1 min.. its really impossible get 2-6h battery backup … if you try also in 50%_ gear i think you get 1h 30 min (from 100% to 10%)…(Tested) On 35% gear you will get 2 hours 10-20 minutes battery backup(Tested) On 1-10% gear i think you will get 4-5.5 Hours battery backup( not tested)

I don't think it's fair to test the traps side by side and compare their catches. It shows the flies prefer the vinegar over the light, but that doesn't mean the light trap is less effective. Would the light trap had caught more flies if the vinegar trap wasn't pulling them away? What if the light has a greater range and was responsible for attracting the most flies, but the flies were drawn to the vinegar in the last moment, only after being attracted by the light? I'd like to see how the traps perform separately. That said, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. It's invaluable. I have just declared war on the fruit flies in my house, and UA-camrs like you have been a great help.

Thanks for sharing . I was really healthy and one day got a bad stabbing pain by my left shoulder blade..ends up being shingles. Fortunately had only a small rash front and back but the raised spots are still there after two months..and today got another stabbing pain lower down on my back on the same side.. so hooking into the lysine and vitamin c and viralex. Has your rash completely gone away now ?

I feel like a jerk saying this, BUT I THINK YOU HAVE YOUR STORAGE UPSIDE DOWN. I saw a video from Lovesac showing those aluminum bars. It makes no sense that your blankets don't sit down in the hole. I have seen countless videos where you lift the cushion and throw it in. Just incase you just made a wrong assumption, I'm just trying to help. I imagine you have been told many times.
